Day 16.

Simplicity.

I watched the sunset
with 1,000 strangers.
We hoped to catch a glimpse
of the illusive green glow
as the sun hides
behind the horizon.
Ships slowly cruised
across the bay, their masts
cutting into the sky.
The woman to my right
drove 15 hours to see it,
armed only with a 110 camera
and 2 shots left.
Hipsters played acoustic guitar
behind us, immune to the
daily wonder of nature before is.
As daylight disappeared,
the crowd silenced.
A collective reverie.
